Ulzzang

Ulzzang  is a popular South Korean that means "best face" or "good-looking". In the English its describing a person that follows specific style of fashion. A person that have ulzzang status gain popularity on the internet through entering contests when their photos are judged and chosen by voters and  gain the popularity on  Cyworld accounts or gained popularity in school for being attractive.

                                 

Many ulzzangs model for popular Korean fashion websites, and some have entered the Korean entertainment business and have since risen to stardom.

 The reality show, “Ulzzang Shidae!” The show will basically reveal some of the inside stories and lifestyles of popular net idols in South Korea.

Although the word originated in South Korea, this trends also could be seen in Japan, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Europe, the United States and Canada.

The most Ulzzang features is big eyes (dolly like ), double eye lids, porcelain like skin, white milky, skinny, v shaped or round small face, cute hair and cute dress up. So to be an ulzzang this the tips on how to be one:

Circles Lens.

Circle lenses are used to make the eyes appear bigger by making the iris of the eyes bigger. Circle lenses are the soft contact lens with a super large diameter (about 14-16 mm) products by South Korea. Not only that, circle lens also make the beautify the color of the iris . It make the eyes looks like "doll eye" and "anime eye". This make the expression of face looks more cute.

Makeup.

Makeup is the most important point of ulzzang not only to girls but also to the guys. Mostly they pay more attention to the eye makeup than other. They use a technique to look more natural. They tend to have high nose bridges so they highlighting the nose or contouring the sides of the nose with brown eye shadow. 

Another tips about ulzzang are they a prefer to have double eye lids. So they use fake eye lid glue or tape to make sure their eyes have and look like have the double eye lids. Then, they will cover with eye shadow. 

Ulzzangs also prefer to have a really clear milky skin, so they use BB Cream or CC cream or something with SPF and when want to take picture their face look whiter because of SPF reflects light. Pimples also will disappear with the helping of  concealer or just using the cream that use before.

For the eye makeup, eyeliner is the most item in their makeup. Black eyeliner may also create a bigger eye effect and make their  eyes look more natural even if you wear circle lens . They wear eye liner with draw the shape of the upper eye and draw eyeliner at the corner of the tail like a wings. They wear likes to wear eyeliner from natural-looking eyeliner until thick eyeliner at the corner of the eyeliner.

Then,the below eyes they prefer to have a puffy eye(aegyo sal) to make they looks more cute and make a cute effect if they smile or make the possing while taking the picture.

Without or with puffy eyes they look cute with it right?

For the cheeks, they want to keep natural and look naturally flushed. So, they may use a tint like and also cream blushes for their cheeks. 

For the lips they often use gradient lips for their lips. They use lipstick, lip tint or concealer and foundation to make the effect of gradient. It also make the cute style and natural.

So about their dress up they prefer casual attire,simple and cute at the same way.

Other accessories.

eyeglasses,hat,headbands,rings and bracelets,headset and mask.

Hairstyle.

For hair they prefer bangs and beachy hair. And for guys with bangs and little long hair.

Who also works as a model for Gabalnara a Korean hair wig shop. She is also a photographer. Hye Mi is married to Baek Hyun Woo or better knows as ASPERGER. And lastly, sorry for all my mistake or for anyone that doesn't like k-pop. I just want to share something that really interesting. And not everything that I write and the all of ulzzang style we should follow. Enough with the suitable part for we especially for muslims, we don't have to not wears hijab because want to follow this stails or doing plastic surgery for the better looking. Or wearing the thick makeup just for coming to the lecture or classes, we should apply it in certain or in the suitable situation maybe for the event you can have a thick makeup.  Remember everyone is not perfect, if everyone is perfect what is our differences among another. And this differences makes the unique part in ourselves.
